Born in Cleveland Ohio, Mitchell Marczewski has resided in southeast Ohio since 1983 and owned a small business for 19 years before practicing law.
Bachelor's degree summa cum laude Ohio University (1994); Law degree Capital University Law School (1999).
Licensed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and all state courts in Ohio.
Practices bankruptcy and has filed more than 3,000 bankruptcy cases since 2001. Experience includes Contested Matters and Adversary Proceedings (a civil lawsuit within a bankruptcy case).
Previously taught business law for 6 years as an adjunct professor at Ohio Christian University and Zane State College.
Past President of the Muskingum County Bar Association (2020) and chaired the Committee on Continuing Legal Education (2013-2020). Taught two Ohio Supreme Court approved courses (Legal Ethics, Bankruptcy)
Appeared more than fifteen times on local television WHIZ Channel 18 (NBC) Sidebar Legal Series discussing a wide range of legal topics.
