Mary Godfrey Nash
I began my legal career in 1976 after graduating from Nova University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Before attending law school, I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Following law school, I pursued a post-doctoral legal Master’s Degree (LL.M.) in International Finance at Georgetown University. In 1993, I moved to Arkansas, where I have been based ever since.
For over 30 years, I have practiced in the areas of Elder Law and Estate Planning. During this time, I have created thousands of revocable, irrevocable, and special needs trusts. I have also handled numerous Guardianships and Veterans Benefits issues, and I regularly counsel families on saving assets and qualifying for Medicaid. I have authored two books on estate planning, with my most recent publication titled "Greed Made me do It!"
I hold licenses to practice law in Arkansas, Florida, and Colorado. Currently, I reside in Maumelle, Arkansas with my dog, Bear.
