- Before joining the firm, he was counsel at a large New York-based law firm, where he was a member of the Corporate Reorganization and Bankruptcy Group for 10 years. He has represented debtors, creditors’ committees, debtor-in-possession lenders, secured and unsecured creditors, and acquirers of assets in both out-of-court workouts and bankruptcy cases. Marc is experienced in cross-border insolvency cases having been involved in cases in various countries such as Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, Canada and Australia. Marc has represented official committees of unsecured creditors including: In re National Restaurant Management Inc., In re Fink Baking Corp, and In re Sfuzzi, Inc.; debtors including In re Manhattan Investment Fund Ltd., In re Bradlees, Inc., In re IDC Services, Inc., In re Pentagon Park Limited Partnership, In re Westwood Energy Properties Limited Partnership; workouts for bank groups including Frederick's of Hollywood, Everfresh Beverageand KomTek, Inc.; debtor in possession financings including: Sun Healthcare, DeVlieg Bullard and Mercy Hospital. Marc has also represented lenders providing debtor-in-possession financing to a variety of companies including Sun Healthcare Group, Integrated Health Services, and Mercy of Northern New York. In addition, Marc has represented Sankaty Advisors, LLC in a number of second lien financing transactions involving companies in the food and beverage, technology, automotive and manufacturing industries.
