Professional Experience

: Current; Prior to rejoining Goodwin Procter in 2004, Ms. Pérez-Deisboeck was vice president of legal affairs and operations at Idealab, a privately held creator and operator of technology businesses. While at Idealab, she advised several technology start-ups, including Lifescape Solutions Inc., developer of image management software Picasa which was sold to Google in 2004; Compete, Inc., a predictive analytics company focused on both offline and online consumer behavior; Palo Alto-based Airwave Wireless, Inc., a developer of wireless network management software solutions; and Evolution Robotics, Inc., a provider of state-of-the-art robotics solutions. In her business role, Ms. Pérez-Deisboeck supervised day-to-day operations of Boston Idealab. Preceding her work at Idealab, she was employed as general counsel at JuniorNet Corporation, a children’s online service. Ms. Pérez-Deisboeck was an associate in Goodwin Procter’s Corporate Department from 1993 to 1999. Prior to that, she served as law clerk to the Honorable Michael A. Telesca on the U.S. District Court of the Western District of New York and was an associate with the Los Angeles office of Baker McKenzie.
