- I have been in practice since 2001. I have devoted my career to criminal defense work. In 2013, I obtained certifications from the National Highway Safety and Patrol (NHTSA). I am a certified NHTSA instructor and have instructed attorneys as well as law enforcement in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing. I also hold certificates in Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (ARIDE) training, and Drug Recognition Training (DRE). While my firm handles all types of felonies and misdemeanors, I have concentrated my efforts on drug and alcohol defenses. Due to my extensive knowledge in these fields, I am known as the OVI Queen. I am in good standing with the Supreme Court of Ohio and am an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association. I also hold certificates for the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and am licensed to take federal cases in the Federal Court for the Northern District of Ohio.

- Q. Is it legal to have a AIRSOFT glock switch?
- A: Hello. The piece of plastic is completely legal until you attach to a firearm, in which case you would be committing a crime and a potential mandatory 6 year specification.
- Q. Are there any criminal defense attorneys who will do a free in person consultation?
- A: Hello- As long as the case is a criminal case in our jurisdiction and on a subject matter that we handle, we are happy to do an in person consultation, but we just need to know that basic information to make sure we can handle the case, if need be. We do not charge for the consultation.
- Q. A 16 yr old boy and 15 yr old girl are dating, and have been dating for almost 11 months. When he is 17, is it illegal?
- A: Dating or having sex? Dating is not illegal at that age, obviously we are assuming parents are ok. However, when the young man turns 18, she will be turning 16, I am presuming shortly after…It would not be statutory rape because she is 16 (the age of consent). If she is 15 then it would be considered statutory rape.
