Poor follow through and attention to detail
I retained him for a landlord eviction. So far it has not been good. First court date the proper papers were not filed and papers not served. I have a second court date coming up and hope the proper information is filed. I'm trying to get these tenants out. I have to keep contacting to find out status. It is pretty frustrating, especially when you are losing money the longer the tenants stay. We will see how this plays out. I hope it gets better. So far, not happy.
Kenneth Wayne Demers' Response: The summons and complaint being filed are the responsibility of court officer not the attorney. The fact that the papers were not served are unknown to the attorney all we can to is to check with the process server or court officer and monitor service. Possession was awarded at the third hearing.
