Prior to attending law school, Kendi served as Assistant Director of Development Planning for Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences and studied university administration at Harvard's Graduate School of Education. She co-chairs Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education's annual Nonprofit Law Conference and has spoken at programs sponsored by the American Bar Association, the National Association of College and University Attorneys, and the Boston Bar Association.
