Activities: Ms. Babson is a trustee at Babson College and is a former trustee at Vermont Academy, an independent secondary school in Saxtons River, Vermont; the Wellesley Scholarship Foundation; the Wellesley Free Library Centennial Fund; and Carleton-Willard Village, a retirement community located in Bedford, Massachusetts. She also has served as director of Alumnae and Alumni Association of Vassar College. Ms. Babson is currently the chair of the Board of Selectmen in the Town of Wellesley. She served for seven years as Moderator of the Town of Wellesley as well as serving on numerous Town study committees. She has been a member and chair of the Town’s Finance and the Community Preservation Committees. Ms. Babson has been an elected Town Meeting Member for more than 35 years.
