I have had the opportunity to observe Mr. Stanko in many different courtrooms throughout Northern California and worked closely with him regarding different clients needing similar legal representation in an evolving area of the law.

Q. In the cases you were involved in with this attorney, which of the following apply?

Mr. Stanko and I represented military veterans before CA had established a Veteran's Court and diversion for military veteran's facing DUI charges was contested by the prosecution and many, if not most, judges didn't allow these cases a diversion option.

Q. When did you work with this lawyer?
2015- 2017
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

After I was able to secure my client Veteran's Court and diversion; Mr. Stanko was able to secure the same outcome for his client with a worse DUI case and significantly less distinguished military service. In my opinion, without his representation his client would not have been offered diversion.

Legal Knowledge: Excellent

When I see Mr. Stanko in court he always seems prepared for his case and aware of the opposing arguments with case law and other legal argument to bolster his position.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

When I have seen him in court he always seems prepared for the counter argument and effectively represents the interests of his client.

Communication Skills: Excellent

In addition to being well prepared for the opposition (and the judge, often) he has a good grasp of the law and legal arguments to the extent that he can explain complicated legal concepts to even the most simple-minded prosecutor or judge,

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

While I can't speak directly to this, we have worked in the same legal community for over 20 years, I have never heard a colleague (either opposing counsel or fellow defense attorney) say anything ill of Mr. Stanko.

Mr. Stanko is definitely a well-prepare smart criminal defense attorney, I would recommend anyone facing criminal charges give him a call and see what he can do for you.
