Rating: 10 Lawyer Rating - 10 out of 10
John is the kind of lawyer that other lawyers enjoy working with. You know he will pull more than his fair share of the load. After a long day in trial, John is as comfortable talking about the important things of life over a great supper to round out a full day of work. Trial lawyers by nature love to communicate. John is a great communicator deserving of the highest rating I can give.

Q. When did you work with this lawyer?
Consulted with John in September 2020 and am currently consulting with him on separate civil business matter.
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

John is the kind of lawyer you define the legal issues and scope of the engagement and let him run with it. He anticipates future problems today so as to head off client frustration in the future. In the courtroom, he is prepared, articulate, deliberate and calm. You don't have to worry about whether he will waste resources and time in needless experts and other expenses. John identifies the best business practice, capitalize on it, while thoughtful to resources so as not expend unnecessarily.

Q. Please rate this lawyer on the following:

Legal Knowledge: Excellent

Disciplined, a former Naval Officer and Fulbright Scholar, his work ethic translate into superior legal knowledge and effort. Unassuming, the only way I learned about his academic acumen was sitting in his office and noticed his credentials. Opposing counsel who do not prepare well, will be leaving the courtroom or boardroom wondering what just happened to their case. John will not be outworked. He will not "win" every case--none of us do--but it won't be because he was not prepared.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Methodical, disciplined and contemplative, John will thoroughly outline the client's strengths as well as their weaknesses so as to give them sound sage legal analysis advice.

Communication Skills: Excellent

Simply stated, you do not get to where John has so quickly professionally without being a great communicator.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

John is a man and lawyer of integrity. He will fight for his client within the bounds of the rules of ethics and tell clients what they need to hear, not necessarily what they want to hear.
