John David Faucher

Mr. Faucher caused me great financial harm I hired John as my audit defense attorney. His professional negligence and misconduct has caused me great financial harm. I have filed a compliant against him with the State Bar of CA. You should check their website to see if they have taken any discipline actions yet (or disbarment) before considering hiring him. I am also pursuing civil action against him to recover some of the substantial fiscal harm he has caused by his misconduct. In addition to him missing deadlines, disappearing with the examiner unable to contact him despite multiple attempts, and his incompetent responses to simple questions that caused more confusion and mistrust on the examiners side, he actively undermined the very position I hired him to advocate for on my behalf. The examiner issued a written statement saying that John told her she should rule against me on the central issue of the audit. Needless to say, I am appalled by his secret subversion of my position and would hate to see anyone else get harmed by him. You should actually take his own word for how good an attorney he thinks he is. He wrote a memo to me explaining that he thinks other attorneys are more skillful than him. This is an exact word for word quote from a memo he sent to me after his awful performance "I sometimes felt that a particular taxpayer representative might outmatch me in aggression or skill or slick talking"
