Avoid at all cost this attorney During MY last week in ICU of 26 days in ICU Attorney Joe I. Zaid cut a deal with an attorney who was renting also an office in his brothers then law firm who was working a HOA issue for me. JOE JAWAD ISAM ZAID, WHO WAS GOING BY THE NAME OF JOE I ZAID and was the junior partner in his brothers law firm JOHN K. ZAID & ASSOCIATES that screwed me over bad. FACT, I was in a serious “T” BONED MVA and after being extricated via the jaws of life by Seabrook FD , I was transported via ambulance to ER at Cleat Lake Regional Hospital's, and was in their ICU for 26 days and then 3 more weeks in a secondary Hospital for rehabilitation. while still in ICU and while I was still under several mixes of pain killers and delusional and did not possess the Competency and the Capacity to make any legal decisions and both attorney's were aware of my state and I had a friend who was in the process of getting a documented POA from the other attorney sam but in order to get access to me they avoided her. While in this state they both got me to sign a retainer for Joe's brothers John K Zaid and associates I then was transferred to a rehab hospital for another 21 days and after release I was told about me signing this document. with Joe I. Zaid on behalf of his brother whom I had never met, Joe I. Zaid “failed” to inform me that he had very limited prior experience in representing clients relating to MVA’s and limited experience if any, prior experience in MVA’s involving Medicare Advantage Insurance liens which also adversely affected my case and Joe I. Zaid continued failure to maintain communication with me, and willful withholding of information in accordance with Rule 1.03 including Attorney’s Joe I. Zaid’s paralegal Ms. Claudia Leung, who now praises him. This Attorney also settled my insurance claim without my knowledge or "approval" and lied to me on several occasions and let the work done by his paralegal Claudia Lung who was incompetent in Medicare Advantage insurance and failed to dispute my inputs of hospital charges costing many thousands of dollars and accepted the insurance companies’ liens all in 10 days. So that Joe Zaid and his brother John Zaid and my HOA Attorney could split the $ 70,000 fee which also cost me $ 14,000 additional hospital bills (lien.). None of this MVA required an attorney AVOID THIS LAW FIRM AT ALL COSTS ESPECIALLY JOE ZAID AND HIS PARALEGAL.
