Jessica A. Myers

Jessica is a dedicated commercial litigator with a commitment to obtaining the right solution for her clients. Jessica has a detailed knowledge of the professional design and construction industry and represents clients in cases involving professional design malpractice, N.Y. Labor Law defense, NYS Court of Claims contract disputes, public bidding protests and award disputes, fee collection, project delay and acceleration claims, construction defects, mechanic’s lien and bond claims, and more. Jessica also handles an array of general commercial and contract litigation, including insurance coverage, real property matters, N.Y. CPLR Article 78 proceedings, and financial workout and bankruptcy matters.

Jessica's clients include design professionals (architects/engineers), real property owners, sureties, insurers, contractors, subcontractors, and materials suppliers and involve projects that span many industries (e.g., public and private education, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.). Jessica appears regularly in the NYS Supreme and Appellate Division Courts, NYS Court of Claims, and U.S. District Courts. Although Jessica is a highly-capable litigator, she adds value by guiding clients through strategies for risk management and dispute avoidance to resolve issues in the most efficient and cost-effective manner. Jessica is also adept at drafting and negotiating effective agreements that serve the unique needs of her clients and their customers.

Jessica maintains an active law license in New York state and is licensed but inactive in Arizona and California.
