Janet Santeramo-DeWaele
Janet Santeramo-DeWaele joined Turley Redmond and Rosasco in September 2008 after working as a Staff Attorney for the Administration for Children’s Services where she litigated on behalf of and represented the New York City Commissioner of Social Services in child abuse and neglect proceedings. While working for the Administration for Children’s Services, Ms. Santeramo-DeWaele worked in concert with the court and opposing counsel to facilitate stabilization and reunifications of families involved in the Family Court system and achieve permanency for the children in care and custody of the Commissioner. Prior to becoming an attorney, she worked as a Social Worker Assistant for a not for profit organization that facilitates community integration for adults with developmental and psychiatric disabilities. Janet’s area of concentration is Social Security Disability where her advocacy and communication skills in conjunction with her intelligence and empathy enable her to be a strong but compassionate advocate for Turley Redmond and Rosasco’s clients.
