Lawyer never responded but bills you for services I was appointed this woman for my child custody case. I was never able to reach her. When court finally happened I didn't get to speak. I was never given the paperwork. When I emailed her with the guardian ad litem and the caseworker to ask why I didn't get to talk or why I didn't receive the paperwork she withdrew. Like other attorneys I have been appointed they will never communicate with you but you will never be informed of how they bill for your case because they are court appointed. She billed the state for many different conversations with me that never happened. She even billed for the postage for the paperwork she never sent. Her excuse was a heavy case load. My case was delayed a very long time because of her unavailability.
