: Current; Activities: Mr. Burde is on the editorial boards of the Journal of Health Law and the BNA Health Law Reporter, and he served as attorney on the National Governor's Association State Alliance for E-Health. He has recently been appointed Counsel to the Pennsylvania Joint Committee for Revision of Health Laws. Mr. Burde is a frequent speaker on health law topics to audiences including the Health Information Management Systems Society, Capitol Hill Steering Committee on Health Informatics, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission, the Health Care Financial Management Association, the Milbank Memorial Fund, the Hospital Association of Pennsylvania, the Managed Care Association of Pennsylvania, and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, in addition to client customer and user groups. He is pro bono counsel to the Center for Autism. A graduate from the University of Virginia School of Law, he was a founder of the Virginia Health Law Forum. At his Duke University graduation he was a baccalaureate speaker.
