In March 1989 I became George’s law clerk. When I was sworn in on November 8, 1990 I became his associate. June 1, 1992 we became partners. I have been partners with George Bellas for over 26 years.

I started out as an associate working for George. He represented my mother’s company. We then eventually formed a partnership. We have worked on cases together. We have collaborated on cases together. We have been partners for 26 years.

I was a law clerk for George starting in March 1989. When I passed the bar exam and got sworn in November 8, 1990 I was an associate working for George. June 1, 1992 we became partners. We have been partners for 26 years.

Yes

George is tenacious. He’s organized. He figures things out quickly. He pushes the right buttons. He doesn’t spend time on things that don’t need to have time spent on them. George operates very well in a grey area. Most attorneys need to know that something is black or white before they can truly represent a client. Even in a grey area George fights as if being in a black and white area.

George has been practicing for 40 years. I am not saying that just by merely practicing for 40 years you should be more knowledgeable. If you don’t continue to learn and grow you’re only as good in your 40th year as you were in your first year. That’s not the case with George.. He’s constantly changing. Learning. Adapting. Growing.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

George has the ability to figure out the end game several moves ahead. He has experience. He’s able to cut through the unnecessary very quickly. Get to the issues very quickly. Figure out how to prove the case.

Communication Skills: Excellent

If you want an attorney who is going to ramble on and give you 50 different alternatives and not even be sure about any of them then George is not your guy. If you want someone who’s going to give it to you the way it is in a very understandable and concise manner then George is the guy you want. I think he’s an excellent communicator. He’s the guy I would want.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

When and attorney puts a clients interests ahead of his own it’s very rare that they are unethical. George is professional and ultimately ethical. In all the years that I’ve known him I’ve never seen him do anything with a client that was unethical.
