George Metcalfe has over 30 years of experience in matrimonial and family law matters and has studied tax law in the LLM Graduate Tax Program at the Levin School of Law at the University of Florida. He also attended the University of Miami School of Law, and is a Charter Class J.D. graduate of St. Thomas University School of Law. He holds advance graduate degree - M.B.A. - and a graduate degree M.A. in Speech Communication from the University of Miami School of Business and Graduate School. Metcalfe graduated cum laude with a B.B.A. in finance from University ofMiami School of Business Administration. He graduated from Ransom-Everglades School, Coconut Grove, Florida.
George Metcalfe was admitted in 1988 to practice in Florida and at U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida; and before U.S. Tax Court and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Metcalfe founded the Legal Clinic at the Rupert J. Smith Law Library in Fort Pierce, Florida and was honored by Florida Rural Legal Services for his extensive pro bono service. Metcalfe has represented domestic violence victims for Harbor House of Central Florida Metcalfe trained paralegals as lecturer at Barry University in Miami, Florida. Metcalfe was Senior District XI Counsel, Florida Department of Health and Rehabilitative Services and Associate Counsel, Peters, Pickle, Niemoeller, Robertson, Lax and Parsons in Miami. He served a law clerkship in the Appellate Division, U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of Florida.
