- Eric has extensive experience representing pharmaceutical companies in complex civil litigation. In particular, he has been involved for several years in the massive Average Wholesale Price ("AWP") litigation that is comprised of dozens of state and federal cases in several different jurisdictions, including a multi-district litigation ("MDL") and class action in federal court involving hundreds of millions of dollars in alleged damages. Eric has also represented clients in connection with various civil and criminal investigations by government agencies, including the Department of Justice, the Securities Exchange Commission, and various state attorneys general. Such work has included representations of public companies, boards of directors, and individuals in the pharmaceutical, investment management, and technology industries, among others. Eric has also assisted public companies in conducting internal investigations. Prior to law school, Eric served as a Harvard Urban Service Fellow in the Office of Mayor Thomas M. Menino in Boston.
