Ray represented a member of my family about 12-15 years ago and I was very impressed with his knowledge of the law, his professionalism as well as his easy to speak with personality.

Q. In the cases you were involved in with this attorney, which of the following apply?

The first time I remember meeting Ray was while he was representing a member of my family. Even though I am also a criminal defense lawyer, at the time the charges were filed I was employed by a large law firm. After meeting Ray and getting to know him a bit we have been friends since. I regularly see him in Court as he zealously defends his clients with quiet calm. Lets face it when a loved one is in the middle of a tornado in their life they need that quiet calm.

He was representing my family member in 2004 I think.
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

He was awesome in his representation. He was very understanding, he was never judgmental and very knowledgeable about the law.

Legal Knowledge: Excellent

There was not really much "legal analysis" on the case he was helping a family member with but over the past decade I have had many opportunities to see Ray in Court and discuss many other cases and I have always valued his opinion and legal analysis on cases

Communication Skills: Excellent

As I stated I see Ray regularly in Hays County Court so I have become very familiar with him and his reputation among other lawyers in the community. He is well respected and a lawyer that everyone likes.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

I have never seen Ray shy away from a difficult situation but it handles it with his quiet calm and just deals with the situation.
