Earl Denney Jr
EARL L. DENNEY, JR. is vice president of Searcy Denney Scarola Barnhart & Shipley PA and is recognized as one of Florida's leading medical malpractice experts. He has been a guest lecturer in medical legal jurisprudence at Stetson University School of Law.
A Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, Mr. Denney was chosen to be included in the first edition of Who's Who in American Law. He practiced law in Jacksonville and Daytona before moving to South Florida, and has been practicing law in West Palm Beach for 36 years. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Palm Beach County Justice Association, and the Florida Justice Association, formerly known as the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, where he was elected to the EAGLE Hall of Fame in 1994.
Mr. Denney's commitment to improving the quality of public education has greatly benefited Palm Beach County, where he is past president of the Education Partnership and has served on the board of the South Florida Science Museum and Planetarium. He lectures frequently for statewide Continuing Legal Education seminars and to Palm Beach County public school students about the importance of staying in school. He also serves on the board of directors and is president of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Palm Beach County.
A 1967 graduate of the University of Mississippi Law School, Mr. Denney received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University. He is a member of The Florida Bar and The Mississippi Bar.
