David O. Walker
DAVID WALKER is a limited partner of Neblett, Beard & Arsenault. He joined the firm in 1985 after a judicial clerkship. Mr. Walker is recognized by his peers and has appeared in seven consecutive years of “Louisiana Super Lawyers”, a publication of Thomson Reuters, and is rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubble. Focusing on personal injury, Mr. Walker has decades of experience and has been retained in over two thousand injury cases. He represents clients concentrating on: Mesothelioma asbestos exposure, 18 Wheeler/Trucking collisions, Tour Bus/MotorCoach/Van accidents, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; Offshore, Admiralty, Jones Act, and Maritime Law; Death on the High Seas; Insurance Contract Coverage; Motor Vehicle Collisions; and Products Liability Law. Mr. Walker is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. His past experience includes a $7 Million truck injury case; a $4.5 Million 18-wheeler injury case; and co-lead counsel in a multi-million dollar helicopter crash death case in the Gulf of Mexico. He appeared before the Supreme Court of Louisiana and was successful in a UM insurance case, providing $1 Million to compensate his client instead of the $100,000 suggested by the insurance company. Mr. Walker is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas. He is a member of the Louisiana and Texas State Bar Associations, American Association for Justice, Crossroads American Inns of Court, and the AAJ Interstate Trucking Litigation Group. Mr. Walker earned his law degree in 1984 from Southern University Law Center, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, cum laude, was on the Moot Court Board and was a candidate of the Law Review. Mr. Walker has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
