Daniel R. Barrett
Dan Barrett has been helping folks navigate the court system in Texas for more than thirty years. He is rated AV - Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell, is included in The Register of Pre-eminent Attorneys and has been listed as a Texas Monthly Super Lawyer each year since beginning of the publication.
Dan was also a member of the Texas House of Representatives, having been elected to represent the citizens of District 97 in 2007. While in the legislature, Dan served on the Land & Resource Management and Pensions & Investments Committees.
His trial practice includes commercial and construction disputes, local government issues, business torts, professional malpractice and personal injury. Dan is Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and as a Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and is a past president of the Fort Worth Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
In addition to his trial practice, when time permits, Dan is willing to serve as an expert witness for both plaintiffs and defendants in legal malpractice/breach of fiduciary duty cases.
