Biography of Daniel J. Tann, Esquire
“The Attorney For All Generations”
Daniel J. Tann, Esquire was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Gladys L. Tann and Fee Otis Tann. He is the youngest of three children.
He is a 1982 graduate of LaSalle University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a dual major in Accounting and Organizational Behavior Management.
In 1982, Mr. Tann was awarded the Joseph Drogan Scholarship to study law at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. While at Drake, he demonstrated his capacity for leadership when was elected President of the local chapter of the Black Law Students of America, represented Drake University in the National Frederick Douglas Moot Court Competition and reactivated the alumni chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. During his last year of law school, he was recognized in "Who's Who Among American Law Students" and received the "Dean's Service Award."
In 1985, Dan graduated from Drake University with a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree and began practicing law with the Philadelphia firm of Spear, Wilderman, Sigmond, Borish, Endy, and Silverstein as an associate in the general practice division where he later became the Department Manager. From 1989 – 2001 he was the Senior Litigation Attorney with the firm of Gordon & Weinberg, P.C. practicing in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Collections, Bankruptcy, Matrimonial Law, Personal Injury, Real Estate, Civil Litigation and Criminal Law.
In January 2002, he fulfilled a professional goal and founded the Law Offices of Daniel J. Tann, a full service law firm with the motto of “The Attorney For All Generations”. He is known for his tenacity and thoroughness in the courtroom.
He has served on the Boards of Spectrum Health Services, Inc, La Salle University Alumni Association, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., American Bar Association just to name a few.

Expanded the services to better serve the patients and added pharmacy, dental, podiatry, behavioral health and nutrition services.
