- Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Dan served for 16 years on the staff of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission where he held positions as a staff attorney and supervisor in the Division of Enforcement, as Counsel to Commissioner Mary L. Schapiro, and as Assistant General Counsel for Investment Management and Investment Adviser Regulation. Prior to his SEC experience, he clerked for United States District Court Judge Robert Hall, Northern District of Georgia (Atlanta). Dan has taught securities law as an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland Law School and the George Washington University School of Law.
