- Activities: Mr. Thompson is a member of the Tort and Insurance Section of the Dallas Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. He is also a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

- Activities: Mr. Thompson has actively participated in numerous community events and has served in leadership positions in several organizations. He is currently the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Dallas Arts District Alliance, and previously served as Chair-Elect and Programs Chair for that organization. Mr. Thompson has also served as Volunteers Co-chair for the Helping Hands organization, which benefits the Family Place, a shelter for women and children. He was a member of the 2003-2004 Leadership Arts class in Dallas, Texas, where he served as Chair of the Steering Committee for the class fundraising project, which raised more than $40,000 for the Friends of Fair Park. Mr. Thompson was also a member of the Leadership Dallas class of 2006-2007.
