Christopher earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Duke University where he conducted research on the Hepatitis Delta Virus ribozyme in the laboratory of Professor Michael D. Been.His doctoral research at Harvard University focused on crystallographic and biochemical characterization of enzymatic human DNA repair under the guidance of Professor Gregory L. Verdine. Christopher is the recipient of an NIH Training Grant Fellowship and has authored a paper in the Journal of Biological Chemistry.
