Biography

Prior to founding the Lankford Law Firm, I was a managing partner at the Law Offices of Lankford & Knapp. I founded the Lankford Law Firm in order to focus exclusively on criminal defense and to allow myself the flexibility to serve a broader range of clients. In 2014, I was named a Top Attorney by Fort Worth, Texas magazine and a Top 100 Trial Lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers Association. I take pride in fighting for individual's rights, freedom, and protecting them from the harsh consequences of the criminal justice system. I am a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCCDLA), Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association (TCDLA), the Tarrant County Bar Association (TCBA) and the College of the State Bar of Texas (The College). I have also been recognized as a Top Contributor on Avvo in 2013 and 2014, where I provides free legal advice to persons in need. I graduated from Baylor Law School (J.D. '13) with a concentration in Criminal Law. While attending Baylor in Waco, Texas, I also worked in the McLennan County District Attorney's office. There, I assisted with misdemeanor trials. I also hold degrees from the University of Texas at Arlington (B.A. '10) and Tarrant County College (A.A. '09). I am also a graduate of the Texas Criminal Trial College ('14). I am a United States Marine Corps veteran ('02-'06). Enlisting after September 11, 2001, I served primarily as a legal administration clerk. I served in key roles such as a security specialist and a marksmanship instructor. I am also an active member of the Tarrant County community. I spend much of his free time volunteering, attending sporting events or participating in triathlons, endurance and adventure races.

A: I would strongly advise it.
