Chris Ragano

Chris E. Ragano is a third generation Tampa native and the son of prominent attorney Frank Ragano. Frank Ragano was rated one of the top five greatest criminal defense attorneys in history. Chris was born in Miami, Florida and has resided in the Tampa Bay area since 1978. Chris Ragano carries on the family tradition started by his father of helping people by representing them in legal matters – protecting both their families and their rights.
Mr. Ragano practices exclusively in the areas of matrimonial and family law, including trial litigation in all areas of custody disputes and complex financial matters. Mr. Ragano received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law and his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University. He is admitted to practice in the state of Florida and before the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
Attorney Chris E. Ragano is a member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section and the Hillsborough County Bar Association Family Law Section where he served as past Chair for the Family Law Section and the Family Law Executive Council Committee. He is also a past Chair of the Executive Committee for the Tampa Family Law Inns of Court.
Mr. Ragano is a frequent speaker and lecturer on contested family law litigation. He has previously lectured for The Florida Bar, the National Business Institute, the Hillsborough County Bar Association (Family Law Section) and Bay Area Legal Services. Such seminars include such topics as Advanced Trial Techniques, Admissibility of Electronic Evidence, Utilizing Expert Witnesses at Trial and Complex Child Custody litigation.
Chris E. Ragano has been featured in the Tampa Tribune discussing the effects of cyber-stalking in contested custody matters. He has written for the Hillsborough County Lawyer Magazine an article titled "The New Parenting Bill: No More Mud Slinging???". This was the first article to discuss the new revisions to the Parenting Bill in Florida. Mr.
