Bryan Stone was born and raised in Macon Georgia and went on to go to the University of Georgia earning a BBA in banking and finance. He then graduated from Wake Forest University School of law in Winston-Salem and has lived in Charlotte since. Bryan is active in the legal community on topics related to bankruptcy, creditor and debtor rights, business litigation, construction and landlord--tenant law. He has taught continuing legal education classes, given seminars and lectures on several of those topics as well as co-authored a chapter of the 2012 North Carolina Bar Association Bankruptcy Manual. Bryan is also very involved in many organizations in the local community including: founding the local Charlotte UGA Alumni group, he is chair of “Bravo!” the young professional’s organization of Opera Carolina and is a commissioner of the Mecklenburg County Bar Softball league. In his free time he competes in BBQ contests throughout North Carolina, including the Charlotte Q-City BBQ Championship every October and has placed well for ribs and pork shoulder thanks to his homemade spice rubs and BBQ sauce.
