- Brian has represented a number of public companies, including Fortune 500 companies, several leading investment banking firms and numerous venture-backed private companies. Brian has spoken on a variety of corporate securities matters, including public offerings and developments in the securities laws. Prior to joining Ropes Gray, Brian was a partner at a prominent Silicon Valley law firm and prior to that was an associate at a major New York City firm. Brian graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Oregon in 1985. He received his J.D., cum laude, from Willamette University College of Law in 1989 where he was a Member of Law Review. He is a member of the bars of the states of California, New York and Washington.
