Biography

I was born and raised in the Chicago area, where I grew up in a family of Greek immigrants and working-class entrepreneurs. My family owned and operated one of the largest retail ice cream truck companies in the nation for many years. This background has given me a deep understanding of the unique legal challenges faced by small businesses and working-class individuals.

I graduated with honors from the University of Denver Law School in 2001. During my time in law school, I clerked for the Denver District Attorney's Office and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. My last year was spent conducting intensive directed research on fourth amendment law and racial profiling. After graduating, I began my career as a municipal prosecutor and insurance defense lawyer. I also served as a fourth amendment legal consultant to the State of Colorado, where I taught fourth amendment law and anti-biased policing to police officers across the state.

Throughout my career, I have represented clients in a variety of cases, including employment, personal injury/motor vehicle accidents, and civil rights. I have been involved in several high-profile cases that have received extensive media attention, such as the Jon Benet Ramsey case. My diverse legal experiences have made me an effective advocate for my clients, successfully obtaining early and fair settlements without the need for protracted litigation, trials, and appeals. However, I am fully prepared and capable of aggressively representing my clients in court when necessary.

I am also a frequent lecturer and author on various legal topics.
