Ben Snyder
Benjamin A. Snyder is a North Carolina State Bar Certified Immigration Law Specialist and partner at Charlotte Immigration Law Firm.
Mr. Snyder manages Charlotte Immigration Law Firm's employment and investment-based immigration practice. His work includes preparing and filing nonimmigrant visa petitions and applications, such as for E, H, L, O, P, R, and TN visas, as well as employment-based immigrant visa matters, including PERM based EB-2 and EB-3 petitions, and petitions for multinational executives and managers, outstanding researchers, those with extraordinary ability, EB-2's with National Interest Waivers (NIW), and religious workers. Mr. Snyder has experience representing clients in virtually all manner of immigration matters, including family-based immigration petitions, inadmissibility waivers, consular processing, naturalizations, asylum applications, other humanitarian cases (SIJS, U Visas, and VAWA), removal (or "deportation") defense, and appeals. Mr. Snyder was named one of Business North Carolina’s “Legal Elite” for Immigration in 2018 and 2020.
Mr. Snyder is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Carolinas Chapter, for which he currently serves as Media/Social Media Liaison. Mr. Snyder has been a guest lecturer at Elon University School of Law and Wingate University and has presented CLE's hosted by the Mecklenburg County Bar Family and Immigration Law Sections and the AILA Carolinas Chapter. Mr. Snyder regularly gives presentations for Charlotte area community-based organizations.
Prior to joining Charlotte Immigration Law Firm, Mr. Snyder practiced immigration law with firms in Greensboro and Charlotte. Mr. Snyder is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar, the U.S. District Courts for the Western and Middle Districts of North Carolina, the District of Columbia, and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
