Case Abandonment and Unethical Business Practices Attorney did not complete case as promised. Over a year later the attorney filed a motion to withdraw citing that she had no expertise in the area of question. Why would she take the case then over a year ago? The State Bar CAAP program had to advise her to give me my case file after she held it hostage. Attorney also will not return phone calls or emails once retainer signed. Once CAAP complaint filed there was no remorse or apology for her actions and then she threatened my son in law with harassment charges because he responded with one text about my case on my behalf stating he was not the client. Unfortunate and disheartening to see this in the legal world.
