I received by Undergraduate Degree from the University of Michigan in 1989, and my Law Degree from DePaul University College of Law in 1993. I have practiced law in Illinois since 1993. I opened my own practice in 2012, with a focus on family law/divorce, personal bankruptcy, and foreclosure defense.
I have a common sense and non-adversarial approach to my cases. I attempt to resolve cases quickly and efficiently, keeping the cost as low as possible, while still working to ensure that my client’s rights are fully protected. I also believe in being honest with each client about the status of their case, and about their options, even when it is not always what they want to hear. I want each client to have realistic expectations about their situation, because I believe that those who have a better understanding of the pros and cons of their case, will feel more in control and less anxious about the outcome.
