Anne Jordan is the Manager of Criminal Process and Specialty Dockets for the Maine Judicial Branch. In that capacity, she provides legal research and assistance to the Branch, oversees the data unit, the Coordinator of Specialty Dockets and trains and supervises Maine's Bail Commissioners. She also serves as the Judicial Branch's liaison to the Criminal Rules Advisory Committee, the Criminal Law Advisory Committee, the Sex Offender Commission and the Pretrial Justice Reform Committee. Ms. Jordan does not represent individual clients.
Prior to joining the Branch, Ms. Jordan served as a college instructor in criminal law and policy, the Commissioner of Public Safety for the State of Maine, an attorney in private practice for 17 years and as a prosecutor in the York County District Attorney's Office for 6 years. She has been a long time member of the National Criminal Justice Association and was elected President of the Board Of Directors in October 2020.
