Prior to joining Goodwin Procter in 2004, Mr. Kales was an associate with Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr in Washington, D.C. Before attending law school, he worked as a bank examiner and financial analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, respectively. While at the Federal Reserve, Mr. Kales focused primarily on supervision of the U.S. operations of foreign banks.
