Alison Gilliland

Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Apparel Design and Manufacturing and a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Texas Tech University. She began her career in the technology industry, supporting manufacturers across fashion, interior design, automotive, and aerospace. Driven by a desire for a new challenge, she pursued and earned her Juris Doctor from Baylor Law School.

Now at Sul Lee Law Firm, Alison blends her diverse background with her legal expertise to craft innovative solutions for clients. Outside of work, she enjoys attending concerts and festivals or unwinding on a patio with live music on a cool summer evening.

Department of Labor Dallas Regional Solicitor's Office Summer Intern

2022 - 2022

Working closely with the Dallas RSOL attorneys, I drafted initial discovery, motion to extend, answer discovery, and assisted in preparing other procedural documents. I conducted Legal research relating to OSHA and Wage & Hour application of the law and Government Privileges for discovery answers. Additionally, I discussed and analyzed cases with the trial attorneys and attended depositions.

Dallas County District Attorney's Office Summer Intern

2022 - 2022

Assisted the attorneys and investigators under the Dallas County 265th District Court with analyzing and organizing evidence for use in criminal trials. Daily activities included attending witness interviews, discussions with case-related personnel, training on witness trauma and family violence, plea agreements, jury selection, and felony trials.
