Ms. Geczi and I have known each other for almost a decade. We were opposing counsel in prior cases where I originally met Ms. Geczi. After those cases, we stayed in touch and developed a professional relationship. In February I joined her firm as a colleague and senior associate.

We were opposing counsel in prior cases where I originally met Ms. Geczi. After those cases, we stayed in touch and developed a professional relationship.

Q. When did you work with this lawyer?
I originally met Ms. Geczi when she appeared as opposing counsel in 2011. Subsequently, a year later she was opposing counsel in 2012 that lasted for a little over a year. Since then we stayed in touch on occasion. Most recently I joined her firm to work with her in February 2020.
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

Yes, absolutely. As Opposing Counsel she advocated hard for her position but also left open the room to negotiate on points. It is difficult to find that at times. Additionally, I find that she views and thinks outside the box. For example, looking at a legal problem but also seeking practical solutions outside of the legal system.

I have often brainstormed with Ms. Geczi on different legal issues. She incorporates a wide area of different experiences to review legal factual situations.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Per the prior question, she takes factual situations and looks outside the box and reviewing a legal situation and trying to obtain the best result for the client.

Communication Skills: Excellent

She is a great communicator both written and verbal. I feel she is able to reduce a complex situation into a manageable bite for both clients and the audience.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

I have never seen or been in a situation in which I would question either her professionalism or ethical position.
