- Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Mr. Shukhman was an associate in the Corporate Securities, Corporate Governance and Mergers Acquisitions Practice Groups at Heller Ehrman LLP. Before that, he was a staff member of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Corporation Finance. While at the SEC, he reviewed registration statements and other filings made under the Securities Act, the Exchange Act and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act involving initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, mergers and acquisitions, going-private transactions, tender offers, exchange offers, resale offerings, no-action letters, and confidential treatment requests. Mr. Shukhman also screened registration statements filed with the SEC identifying legal and accounting issues and recommending the level of review that should be assessed to each filing. Mr. Shukhman previously served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Christina Snyder of the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
