About this Organization:
The Alameda County Homeless Action Center is a non-profit legal services program for homeless and mentally ill people in our community. Founded in 1990 with a Berkeley Law Foundation grant to respond to the legal needs of homeless people, HAC now provides legal assistance to homeless and indigent people primarily in the areas of public benefits (SSI, GA, Food Stamps, MediCal). HAC staff includes four attorneys, one paralegal, and a projects manager all of whom provide direct client assistance.

Schedule:
Open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am-12pm, 1-5pm; Tuesday 1-5pm.
