Honors: Attorney Richard Griffin graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Education in 1991. During college and law school Richard Griffin showed a passion for personal injury, wrongful death, and worker’s compensation. This passion and interest lead Richard Griffin to gain invaluable experience in these areas at a local law firm in the Atlanta area.

Honors: Richard Griffin then received his law degree (Juris Doctor) from Georgia State College of Law in 1994. In law school Richard Griffin focused on and excelled in tort (personal injury), litigation, and worker’s compensation studies. In 1993-1994 Richard Griffin served as the president of the Student Trial Lawyers Association. In 1994 Richard Griffin was also a state finalist (second place finish) in the Intrastate Mock Trial Competition involving Georgia State College of Law, Georgia Law School, and Mercer Law School. Richard Griffin also enjoyed an internship at The State Board of Workers’ Compensation where he assisted the Workers’ Compensation Judges and their staff attorneys writing orders and awards for the workers’ compensation cases tried. Richard Griffin also excelled in his tort (personal injury / wrongful death classes), advanced litigation classes, and worker’s compensation classes (taught by the Honorable Patricia Killingworth) while in law school. During his studies at Emory University and Georgia State College of Law, Richard Griffin gained invaluable experience working for a local law firm that specialized in Wrongful Death, Personal Injury, and Workers’ Compensation law.
