Partner/Attoreny: Beresky & Fish, P.C.; 2001 - Current; I have been practicing law for over 14 years. I began my career in general practice with an emphasis in criminal defense in Las Vegas, Nevada before returning to Phoenix, Arizona in May 1999. I went to work as a Deputy County Attorney in the Maricopa County Attorney's Office prosecuting misdemeanor and felony crimes from DUI to Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping, Armed Robbery Drug Possession, Sales and Manufacturing and Forgery. During my time as a prosecutor, I gained valuable experience in conducting a number of jury trials. In 2001, I opened a private law firm , Beresky & Fish, P.C. with Justin Beresky, another former prosecutor. While the firm is a general practice firm, we place an emphasis on criminal defense and representation of those accused of crimes. We have represented clients charged with DUI, Forgery, Drug Related Crimes, Murder, Sex Conduct Offenses, Theft, Burglary, Assault and many others. We have appeared before Federal, State and City courts including Maricopa, Yavapaii, Pinal and Navajo County courts, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa, Glendale, Peoria, Goodyear, Chandler, Gilbert, Surprise, Tolleson and Avondale city courts as well as the United States District Court, District of Arizona.
