Rating: 10 Lawyer Rating - 10 out of 10
Despite a successful career as a teacher and school administrator, Mr. Waring chose to change course a little later in life and pursue his childhood dream of becoming a lawyer. Not only was he an excellent student of the law, having served as a law review editor and graduating near the top of his class in law school, but he has also distinguished himself as an excellent and highly respected attorney among his peers in the South Carolina Bar, particularly in the area of medical malpractice. March 2009 to present.
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

Mr. Waring always counsels and advises our clients according to what he believes is in their best interests. He prepares and presents most of our mediation presentations, and he always personalizes our clients to the opposing side. Due to his ability to effectively advocate our clients' position through the use of multimedia presentations and a balance of story-telling and support from the case law, an overwhelming majority of our cases settle before going to trial.

Legal Knowledge: Excellent

In addition to being an effective practitioner, Mr. Waring is a legal scholar. His vast knowledge and understanding of both federal and state statutes, regulations, and case law is due to his eagerness to study the law and keep up to date with the most recent legislative sessions and appellate court holdings.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Mr. Waring is a master at analyzing legal issues and prepares briefs and oral arguments with a command of the strengths and weakness of both sides of the issues. Mr. Waring is accessible to our clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week either by cell phone or email. He regularly communicates with clients regarding the progress of their case and communicates settlement offers in a timely manner. Mr. Waring displays the highest ethical standards among his peers in the South Carolina Bar. Whenever he faces an ethical issue, he is careful to review the most current Rules of Professional Conduct and discuss the issue with his colleagues before taking appropriate action.
