You will sign a very gray contract with them, which allows them to sway things in their favor later, once you call them out on their dishonest billing practices. Your initial retainer will be depleted within the first week with bogus charges of “filing and conferences regarding your case” and the weekly replenish of retainer they auto draft, is in addition to the weekly emails requesting thousands more. Not what I was sold on Quit in the middle of my custody case although we were winning. I was running low but not out of money but could not meet the huge retainer demands. Firm also made unauthorized charges to my credit card. Fine lawyer, not such a great person IMO. I would find someone else.
