Susan Cay representation in family court DCF cases, I had private counsel just because private can put more time into your case and investigate the defense and and dig more out about them through private investigators and such. I wasn't satisfied with my private attorney and was wanting to go prose but not really, I just wanted an attorney to represent me they way I see cross-examines, questioning witnesses , objecting and moving to strike, litigation. Being a public defender most people needing representation find the results just aren't the same as private, and this is mainly due to public defender's case loads are just overwhelming and the prep time and investigating the star and their witnesses background checks, it's rare defenders have that time to that. Sometimes it's days or even hours before court they get to put time into the case and obviously investigating witness and evidence obtained most of the time is not time a public defender has. All that being said, Ms Cay has fought littigated and represented me to the best of her ability. We haven't had much favor with rulings and objections have been overruled but I see the heart and she fighting for innocence and I really appreciate her. God and her are our only hope at this point.
