If you want to lose faith in humanity hire Shannon Shannon Thomas is the epitome of what is wrong with WV family court. If you want someone to tell you how great of a lawyer she is and how prepared she is and how she has been doing it for 20 years and still going thru the motions, this is ur lawyer. Had to push my case back twice bc she had zero clue of what was going on, on the 2nd time she told me she could “wing it” and we would be ok. Was never allowed to Email her direct, and after awhile even emailing her many different receptionist that had gone thru at the time u weren’t getting a response. Don’t even try calling her. Only was able to meet with her a few times one being an hour the day before a huge case. If you question her she is going to try and intimidate you and threaten you. Iv never been less prepared for anything as important in my life. After getting rid of her I represented myself and got 50/50 custody. Family count is WV heavily favors the mothers, Shannon has made a living representing woman in this flawed system and going thru The motions and still getting rewarded.
