As an Associate Attorney at Robert's firm, I work on almost all cases, excluding post convictions, in a least some capacity, even if minor.

I am currently employed at the firm. I've been working there for just over three months.
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

An attorney can only be great if they truly care. We were at a hearing once with a client who was pleading to an unfortunate and horrific series of events; a truly wrong place wrong time situation. As he stood in front of the judge he put his arms around the client, a young woman barely 18 years old, and her mother who was there for emotional support. He stood in front of the judge like this the entire time, arms around them, shedding but one single tear. I thought, wow, this man truly cares.

Legal Knowledge: Excellent

His level of experience and knowledge is something one can only achieve through years and years of hard work and dedication. Law is a tricky field, coming from someone who is so new at this profession, I can certainly attest to the fact that no amount of reading can make up for lack of experience. With 37 years in the legal game behind him, his legal knowledge knows no limit yet that I have witnessed.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Similarly to his legal knowledge, his superior skills in legal analysis are the direct result of his years of experience. Even in just the few months that I've been practicing, I've seen some cases that one could only refer to as peculiar, outrageous, and simply put, downright weird. In the legal profession, especially criminal law, it's not until you have one of these strange cases in front of you that you actually learn to see the legal analysis behind them. In 37 years, he's seen it all.

Communication Skills: Excellent

Robert's humble and friendly demeanor allow him to communicate very well with clients from all walks of life in what I would refer to as unparalleled bedside-manor, and yet his confidence enables him to grab the courtroom by the horns. He is the perfect fusion of what a client needs as far a patience and understanding, but yet enough of a shark (as we lawyers call it) to execute any necessarily aggressive legal strategy.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

There isn't a judge or prosecutor in Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade, or Key West County who hasn't at least heard of Robert Malove, but more commonly they adore him. Every time I approach the bench I inform the judge that I work with the Law Offices of Robert Malove, and there is an immediate change in their demeanor. They suddenly see me as an extension of him, and wish only to help me with whatever it is that I need. Only the highest level of professionalism could merit such respect.

Criminal Defense is Robert's area of Expertise, and thus the firms focus as well; trial and appellate cases alike. Any criminal matter under the sun, from simple misdemeanors to the most egregious of Felonies, to the most complex of Appeals, he's got all the bases covered.

I've actually had clients refer to him as "Magic Malove," because when he takes on a case, he's able to get results that could only come about from what they describe as magic.

I would recommend anyone to Robert's firm for their criminal law needs. In addition to being a great advocate himself, he is running an amazing law firm. Everyone on the team is dedicated beyond belief, working day in and day out, even on weekends to make sure that the ship is running smoothly. From the Associates to the secretaries, to the paralegals to the office manager and everyone in between, it's quite an amazing ship, and Robert is an amazing Captain.
