I worked with Ms. Wolf at a previous firm, and since we've both moved out on our own, have had a number of interactions with her in court.

I work alongside Ms. Wolf routinely in several of the courts we both go to, and so have seen her work a number of times.
Q. Was this lawyer an effective advocate/counselor and why?
Yes

Ms. Wolf really cares about her clients, and does her very best to advocate for what will be best for them. She does everything she can to find the best possible outcomes for her clients. I've watched her do quick research, put together an entire packet for the court, and present it all within a matter of days to handle a situation which might otherwise have resulted in her client being jailed.

Ms. Wolf checks and double checks to make sure she is giving the correct information, up to date and accurate.

Legal Analysis: Excellent

Ms. Wolf is always trying to look at her cases from an angle she hasn't thought of yet, and will reach out to colleagues for new ideas or paths to travel based on what she is seeing in the case. This allows her to find a theory of the case that will most benefit her client, backed up by research and time.

Communication Skills: Excellent

Ms. Wolf and her staff are very thorough at returning calls and emails, even after hours or on weekends at times.

Ethics and Professionalism: Excellent

As lawyers, we end up discussing ethics with colleagues somewhat regularly. Few other attorneys reference having contacted the Ethics Hotline nearly as often as Ms. Wolf, as whenever she is not entirely sure she has the rule correctly, she will check with the bar to be sure. She has put a lot of thought and energy into her ethics, and she puts her clients first - always.
