WILL and Transfer on death I was in search for a probate attorney in Austin. Through the reference of my Accountant I contacted two attorneys. I was not satisfied. I searched on the web and found Mike Masse Law Firm [MML]. Going through their website I found MML is well organized and up-to-date in IT technology but I wanted to check on their capability and efficiency as a Law Firm. I spoke to Mike and found they are very strong in their profession and transparent in their reasonable fee structure. Mike explained about the advantage of 'Transfer on Death' document that does not require one to go to the court that would have otherwise required court appearance even in the presence of a WILL. I settle on three documents, namely, WILL by two of us, husband and wife, Medical Power of attorney and Transfer on Death. Mike gave us opportunities to review the draft of the documents and give them feedback, have a review meeting on Zoom and explain to my daughter and wife through a separate Zoom meeting. Finally Mike prepared the final version for signature. He ran through to explain one more time what is in the documents and drawn sketch to clarify the chain of transfers based on contingency. Many legal terms were explained distinctly. At the end, I was not just happy but delighted on the outcome. Without any trace of hesitation, I will recommend to anyone to go to MML on probate needs.
